In order to start a break (e.g. when you go for lunch) open the quick menu and tap the “break” button. This will start the break and your current entry is paused. The break will continue until you stop it by tapping the center button (same as you use to clock-in).

If you forgot to stop the break when you returned from the break. Tap and hold the center button lets you select when to end the break.

Location Based Reminders

Location based reminders are used to remind you when to clock-in/clock-out based on your current position. When you enter a region specified for one of your jobs, you will receive a notification and a suggested time to clock-in automatically.

To set location for a job, first make sure “Location Awareness” is enabled from the settings menu. Then, edit settings for the job you want to add a location for. From this view, select “Job Location” to open up the map view.

Next, use the search field or map to navigate to the location for this job. When you have the location visible, tap and hold to drop a pin. This will be the location for this job. The red circle around the location pin is the region in where you must move in or out from to trigger the notification. You can change the radius of this region with the slider at the bottom of the view.

Note!

Since Time Arc uses a low-power consuming service in background. The accuracy of this feature may vary depending on many things. Enabling Wi-Fi on your device can however improve the accuracy significantly.
